The Play
Le Carton is a comedy by Clément Michel that has been performed over 700 times since its creation at the Théâtre du Lucernaire, Comédie de Paris and Théâtre des Variétés between 2001 and 2004 in Paris, directed by Eric Hénon and Clément Michel. The play was adapted for the screen by Charles Nemes, in the film of the same name released in 2004. The play has also been performed in Italy and Poland. Le Carton returned to the stage in Paris in 2010, at the Théâtre Trévise and the Tristan Bernard, and in 2011 at the Palais des Glace, directed by Arthur Jugnot and David Roussel. The play has also been staged in Rome, Warsaw and Singapore. Since September 2012, it has been playing in Mexico, and since April 2013 in Madrid.
