Synopsis
_jeanne_dark_ is the Instagram handle chosen by Jeanne, a sixteen-year-old from a Catholic family who lives in a suburb of Orléans. For the past few months, she has been subjected to taunts from her classmates about her virginity. One evening, while alone in her room, she decides to speak out live on Instagram. Facing her followers, Jeanne films herself, comes out of her silence, exposes herself, looks at herself, invents herself, tells her story, experiments and raves. In a frantic narrative, the teenager regains control over her image, recreates real-life situations and takes turns playing the people who make up her world. In this waltz of characters, masks and Instagram filters, another Jeanne takes shape before our very eyes, one who, locked away in her bedroom, gives free rein to her fantasies and shatters her identity.
