Synopsis
Mara is thirteen years old and lives in the provinces, in a family where money is a daily, suffocating problem. So she dreams of leading the life of the stars and influencers she sees flaunting themselves on-line. She escapes by playing MMORPG video games, where dozens of players meet on-line. Her chosen avatar bumps into that of an older man’s, who draws her into another game, Daddy. He lavishes her with skills (the winnings and gifts of these games), on the condition that she submits to increasingly troubling tests… On stage, real life is replaced by a digital reality where everything can be bought and paid for.
