Synopsis
The play projects onto the stage an imaginary encounter between Eva Perón, Frida Kahlo and Simone de Beauvoir, nourishing different spaces for reflection on diverse themes such as militancy, sexuality, freedom, vocation… Rich in anecdotes from the lives of the three protagonists, as if they were making a final assessment of their lives together, the play invites us to think about these eternal spaces, in the light of a constant questioning of the inequalities suffered by women throughout the ages.

The Play
The play premiered in Buenos Aires in 2017 at the El Tinglado Theatre, and was subsequently performed non-stop in Argentina in San Juan, Mendoza and Mar del Plata, as well as in Mexico and Uruguay. Far from a single imaginary encounter, the play reveals a fine prose and a humorous, cynical tone, and is articulated in two major periods, that of the past and the present; from the legacy of political struggles and founding works of feminism such as “The Second Sex” to the current situation of women at the start of the 21st century. Following a new return to the Buenos Aires stage in July 2022, the work was performed in Rosario before embarking on a national tour, and has now played for over 6 consecutive years in Argentina.
